Biocompostable organic waste is collected from 7:00 a.m. on the dates indicated in the circular (see documents below).

With regard to door-to-door collection of biocompostable organic waste, the Municipality issues the following specific guidelines: the use of sturdy green waste containers or bags/solid containers with a maximum capacity of 60 litres or biocompostable green waste bags with a maximum capacity of 60 litres is mandatory. Deposits in bin bags or other plastic bags are therefore prohibited and will not be collected.

• The containers used must be removed from public areas on the same day.
• In order to protect the health of workers and in accordance with Ordinance 3 relating to the Labour Law, bags or sturdy containers must not weigh more than 25 kg.
• In order to avoid damage to the container during emptying, its load capacity must be respected. Failure to do so will result in no compensation being paid.
• Organic waste disposed of in containers must be free of any non-biodegradable material (plastic bags, pots, etc.).
• Branches must measure no more than 1.20 metres in length and 8 cm in diameter. They must be tied into bundles.
• When removing plants, the soil in the root ball is a valuable resource that should be left in your garden.
